Our RBI Austin community is coming together (virtually) to talk about race.
How has it affected us? How has it impacted our neighbors and friends? How can we be a diverse community marked by hope, love, and unity?
During this three-part Zoom town hall series, we will cover a few different focus areas:
- Town Hall #1: Hear from RBI Austin Parents!
Next Thursday, November 5 from 6-7pm
A panel of RBI Austin Parents will share their personal experiences of how race has affected their family and community. All are invited! - Town Hall #2: Hear from Community Leaders!
Thursday, November 12 from 6-7pm
A panel of leaders from the Austin community will share about our city’s history as well as current realities. All are invited! - Town Hall #3: Pray with Us!
Thursday, November 19 from 6-7pm
We’ll walk through a brief time of prayer together as a community. All are invited!
Whether you can make it for only one town hall meeting or all three, we’d love for you to join us!

We certainly do not know it all, but we do know that all human beings are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), that He cares so very deeply for us (John 3:16), and that He commands us to love one another (Mark 12:28-31).
For some, this topic may feel scary or divisive. For others, it may be painful and infuriating. Regardless of where you are coming from, we do believe that — because of Jesus Christ — we can enter into these conversations with hope and with love.
Together, we want to listen, to learn, to grow, and to be united.
