Summer season is officially here!

The third Annual Jr. RBI Opening Day on Saturday, May 30th launched our 2015 season. In addition to meeting their coaches and teammates, players and families celebrated the start of our summer league with lots of sno cones, sausage wraps, Raising Cane’s sweet tea, and carnival games. There were also special appearances by former Texas Rangers players Jim Gideon and Donald Harris. It was a fun day for all! Check out photos of the festivities on Facebook.

“Jr. RBI Opening Day 2015 was a huge success. We’re grateful for the parents, volunteers, and sponsors who made the event possible. Specifically, we thank AM Technical Solutions for being our Jr. RBI League presenting sponsor and Austin Christian Fellowship for providing volunteers.

The first three weeks of the season have been equally successful for our 34 Jr. RBI teams, and we’re excited to see how the Lord moves through this 2015 season,” founder and director Matt Price said.

We have a record-setting 496 kids playing this summer, and since games began on Saturday, June 13th, Jr. RBI teams have played 35 baseball and softball games across East Austin It’s been an awesome few weeks filled with growing relationships and lots of fun on the diamond.
