RBI Austin alumni coming back to serve on staff or volunteer with us may very well be one of our favorite things ever.

Seeing former players desire to serve their community and to invest in younger generations is literally what we dream about.

So, we are thrilled to introduce Jacob Carr (pictured standing, far right). Jacob started playing with RBI Austin in 2015. The past two summers Jacob has served on our summer staff as an operations coordinator.

Why did he decide to work for RBI Austin?

“I came back to RBI Austin to gain experience in coaching and to give back to the community. RBI has been so positive and beneficial to players from East Austin like myself. I came back because I respect what RBI Austin stands for, and how the program impacts young Black males like myself. RBI has helped me grow in Christ and develop skills in the summer to better my game.”

We’re incredibly grateful for Jacob, his servant heart, his quiet leadership, his reliability, and his work ethic.
